Made with a wire and mesh base, countless keyboard tiles, and many other computer parts, this project took a WHILE. It was challenging both mentally and physically due to the planning and hours of repetitive work it required. However, all the hard work paid off in the end, with a unique sculpture and many wonderful memories that came from the process.
Here’s a look at the initial wire base. My goals were to have it stand up on it’s own and to create some infrastructure to later attach wire mesh to.
Next, I covered the wire structure with wire mesh. I used the mesh to better plan out the shape of the wolf and to attach details later on.
And here is the final product! I am especially proud of the gradient from grey to white in the tail and all the details I managed to fit onto the face.
